Matching EQ mode is one of the helpful, fun tools available in the Equivocate toolbox of features. By using this tool a track creator can build a frequency curve that reconciles the difference between a sidechain signal and a source track signal.
The feature also allows users to take a song with a radically distinct starting point from every other song on a track and bring it to a better matching start point.
Equivocate Matching is part of of the recently developed Equivocate plug-in, now available for under one hundred dollars.
- Newfangledaudio has developed a new EQ plug-in, distributed by Eventide, currently available for around one hundred dollars.
- The plug-in, known as EQuivocate, has been previously reviewed by reaperblog.net, for its ability to filter out the nasties in electric guitars.
- The plug-in's Matching mode is capable of building a frequency curve that reconciles the difference between a sidechain signal and a source track signal.
“With this mode we can quickly bring a song with a drastically different EQ to a closer starting point with the rest of the songs on the album.”
